❤️ The Sound of Vine: Tasting the Music, Hearing the Wine
Join us on 19th June at Chelsea House for a special summer evening where fine wine and beautiful music meet under one roof. You’ll enjoy five distinctive wines, each paired with live piano performances, creating a sensory journey full of rhythm, flavour, and golden-hour charm.
Who’s involved? • Notable – curating the music and bringing the pianist • How To Wine – selecting the wines and leading the tasting
Why This Evening is Unlike Anything Else
It’s not a format — it’s a feeling. A sommelier and a pianist create an evening where wine and music don’t just coexist — they speak to each other. And to you.
A Chelsea house, not a venue. Think garden glow, elegant rooms, and a space that feels more like a summer dinner party than an event. If the weather allows, we step outside under the sky.
Music you can taste. Each wine opens with its own mood, and guests are invited to share what they feel. The pianist responds live, creating an improvised harmony between glass and grand piano.
No business cards, no lectures. There’s no pressure to network, no need to be “into wine”. This is about shared joy, real connection, and letting the evening unfold.
You’re part of the performance. This isn’t a show. It’s a co-creation. Your words, your reactions, your metaphors — they shape the evening.
You’ll leave changed. When the wine was chosen for you, the music shaped around you, and the atmosphere held you — it’s not just a night out. It’s a reset.
What’s included
A sparkling welcome (125 ml) Begin the evening with a glass of cava — bright, crisp, and perfectly chilled to set the tone.
Tasting of four expressive still wines (approx. 50 ml each) Each wine thoughtfully paired with a live musical piece — not just a tasting, but a sensory duet.
Live piano, curated to match the wines Music and wine in dialogue, shaped by the room, the mood, and you.
Seasonal canapés Freshly made with care — a little something savoury between the sips and melodies.
Guided by a sommelier who keeps things delightfully simple Stories, metaphors, and conversation — no jargon, just shared discovery.
A warm setting and wonderful people It’s the kind of atmosphere where strangers feel familiar, and good conversation finds you.

What You’ll Explore
How wine can sound What if your tasting notes turned into music? You’ll try it — and hear it — together.

What happens when wine leads the music Each pour unlocks a different tempo, key, and colour — the pianist follows you.
How strangers become co-creators It’s not a lecture — it’s a shared moment, built together through sips and sound.
And the simple joy of a summer evening A glass in your hand, a melody in the room, and nothing else required of you.
WHO WE ARE
‘HOW TO WINE’ is a community for people who love good wine, easygoing company, and evenings well spent.
We believe wine should be felt, not decoded. That’s why we bring people together for warm, unpretentious evenings where wine sparks connection — not lectures. Our hosts aren’t wine snobs (or worse, wine bores). They’re trained and thoughtful, but they speak like friends, not textbooks.
And because wine pairs best with music, laughter and a sense of occasion — we mix all of that into our events. In the end, it’s not about learning about wine. It’s about remembering how it made you feel. And that’s what we’re here for.
